Belgium

Recently I had the opportunity to visit the lovely country of Belgium. While in Belgium I was guided by a friend,Jade, Jade is from Belgium and I met her on previous trip in London. Belgium is really known for 4 things chocolate, waffles, beer, and fries. I made it a point to try all of these while in Belgium. My favourite chocolate I had while in Belgium was a brand named Cote’dOr, if you ever see this brand in store I highly recommend that you buy it becuase it is some of the best chocolate I have ever had. Next I made my way over to a waffle hut where I finally got to try a Belgian Waffle, the waffle was soft and crispy on the outside with a gooey and warm center. The waffle was completely different then any waffle I’ve tried in the US and I have to say it was very delicious, but also very sweet. After that I made my way over to a fry stand. I normally am not a huge fried food person but since diet to that point in the day was chocolate and waffles I figured I might as well add fries in the mix too. I ended up getting a Brazilian sauce on the fries and it had a really nice tang to it. Finally I ended the night by getting a Stella Artois with my good friend Jade.
